When was the last time you looked in a full-length mirror? How long did you stand there and truly observe you? If not, after reading this before the end of the day. Explore your jewelry and or accessories, attire and style of fashion from head to toe. Why? How much of your outfit was influenced by others, a trend, purchased by you, gifted from others, or donated to you from a friend or family member?
The reason why I ask this is because through our lives, we tend, without knowing that our lives are influenced by external people and influences. Have you created your own identity from life’s adversities. We don’t realize that we become who we surround ourselves with and who we invest our time with. Be mindful of what you allow into your mind, body, soul and spirit.
Think about everything you do, how you live your life…
Are you living your life with intention, are you paying attention to all that is around you, and aware of the thoughts in your mind and what you are focusing on?
It is important that you do a self-check, a reflection check if you will. It is important to take personal assessment. We are created by the visions we observe whether it is on the big screen, little and mobile screen, on the radio and what you read. Know that you have the choice in everything you add to your life! YOU choose what you eat, wear, listen to, watch, touch and attributes you adopt. Look around the environment and make sure it is of your choosing.
There is no right or wrong. Be bold enough and brave enough to ask family, friends, loved ones, coworkers, and your audiences, and make sure that you are in alignment and that your actions reflect your emotions and intentions.
